Frequently asked questions

Is DaniLink secure?

Yes. Sessions are encrypted peer-to-peer (WebRTC DTLS-SRTP), consent is the gate — the person at the machine grants access with an explicit Accept, with no shared connection password — and every host proves itself with its own cryptographic device identity. See the Security page for more.

How is DaniLink different from other remote-desktop tools?

Same core idea — remote screen sharing and control — with a simpler, security-first design: no shared password, encrypted peer-to-peer sessions by default, and transparent European pricing at roughly half the cost of the incumbents.

What's included in the free plan?

Attended remote control, with full end-to-end encrypted security, the browser viewer and mobile support, with 30 minutes of control per day and up to 3 stations — no credit card required.

Can I use DaniLink for commercial or business support?

The free plan is for personal, non-commercial use. Pro is licensed for commercial use by a single user with unlimited session time; Team adds concurrent seats and fleet/admin tooling for organizations.

What platforms are supported?

The host app runs on Windows today (macOS and mobile are on the roadmap). Anyone can view and control a session from any modern browser, on desktop or mobile, with nothing to install on the viewer side.

Where is my data hosted?

Account and service data are hosted in the European Union. Session content itself — your screen and input — travels directly peer-to-peer and is never logged or stored on our servers.

What are the system requirements?

The DaniLink host app requires Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Viewing and controlling needs nothing installed — any modern desktop or mobile browser works. macOS and mobile host apps are on the roadmap.

Is there a trial?

Yes — 7 days of Pro, once, with no credit card. At the end you stay on the free plan unless you choose to continue.

How does the referral program work?

Get your invite link from your account and share it. When your friend confirms their account they get 30 days of Pro; when they become active, you get 30 days too. It stacks up to 12 free months a year. See the Refer page.
